Abu Dhabi as my flight took off For some of us who live outside of the Middle East, I could not imagine what a desert would look like. May Kwento Ako #30 : The Scala Sancta

My young friend, Ovidio came by the hotel for a quick chat.  He had come from work and he was off in the afternoon from school.  After exchanging a few pleasantries, he asked me what places I was intending to go to.  I said I wanted to go.  I said ‘The Scala Sancta’ and afterContinue reading “May Kwento Ako #30 : The Scala Sancta”

May Kwento Ako #13 : BOEUCC, a Milanese Classic

When I was ushered to a nice table in a good section of this restaurant, I immediately liked what was around me. It looked solid, established and with a decent history. May Kwento Ako #10 : Duomo Milano, in my eyes

This world’s fashion capital and leading business center has long intimated me, for some strange and unexplainable reason.  After staying for almost a week, I still don’t see why I was.  The sights were awe-inspiring.  The food was first rate. The boutiques were made solely for the world’s blackbelters. After a couple of days, IContinue reading “May Kwento Ako #10 : Duomo Milano, in my eyes”

May Kwento Ako #8 : La Bicycleta

I noticed that there are so many bicycles here than in any continent.  We, Asians tend to keep our bicycles inside our homes lest they’d be stolen. Thanks also, to the cleaner air, environment and lack of congestion, I suppose.  People here are so lucky to be able to do this.
