May Kwento Ako #28 : No Name Ramen-discovered @ Kyoto

One early Sunday morning, I found myself facing google maps to find a nearby Roman Catholic Church to attend Sunday service.

As I triangulated my location to the 3 Roman Catholic churches nearest my hotel, my next move would be where to go for brunch. I woke up hungry as I seem to be every morning because my dinners seem to be had early in the evening or late in the afternoon. An Age thing, I suppose.

Google “Ramen near me”.

A local blogger’s blog was listed.  Thanks to this chap, it lead me to this ramen shop that has no name.

As it turned out, it was one big surprise. A meal that cost about ¥900 or Php450, i left this place with a big smile. And i was excited to tell my friends who i was meeting in a few days, hoping that i would be able to drag them here.

And yes, I dragged them to Kyoto. They were pleasantly surprised how on earth i found this rather obscure place in a big city. Hard to explain but i was happy that they were happy.

Looking forward to 65 Meanwhile, here is “May Kwento Ako” series ... ( in Filipino means ‘I have a story’ ). This Blog was created as a journal of my discoveries. Hopefully, in my old age, i will be able to go back to these and be glad that i did what i did.
